Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Guo Wei was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,909.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guo Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bathroom Series No. 4 in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 1,327,500.00 (€ 109,288.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Guo Wei kam im April 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.909,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guo Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bathroom Series No. 4 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.327.500,00 (€ 109.288,40).
