The »bidding war« ended at USD 107,100.00 (€ 91,203.27), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Guillermo Kuitca have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diarios (2000-2005) in November last year with an auction result of USD 567,000.00 (€ 549,258.94).

Die Arbeit Winter Tales von Guillermo Kuitca wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 107.100,00 (€ 91.203,27) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guillermo Kuitca auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Diarios (2000-2005) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 567.000,00 (€ 549.258,94).
