Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art, which included the work Orquideas by Guillermo Conte. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,406.72), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Guillermo Conte have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 8,400.00 (€ 6,545.62) in May 2006 for the work without title.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Orquideas von Guillermo Conte zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.406,72) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Guillermo Conte haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.400,00 (€ 6.545,62) im Mai 2006 für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet.
