A top price for Guillermo Conte - as previously expected
This work without title by Guillermo Conte was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,400.00 (€ 6,545.62) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Guillermo Conte that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Guillermo Conte kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.400,00 (€ 6.545,62) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Guillermo Conte, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
