Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A sunlit terrace, Anacapri by Guido Odierna was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2003. The price achieved of GBP 940.00 (€ 1,439.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guido Odierna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishing vessels off Capri at dusk; and Waves breaking on the rocks, Capri, which sold at auction in September 2006 for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,956.71).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 940,00 (€ 1.439,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
