Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fishing boats off Capri by Guido Odierna was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2012. It achieved a price of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,089.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guido Odierna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishing vessels off Capri at dusk; and Waves breaking on the rocks, Capri, which sold at auction in September 2006 for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,956.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fishing boats off Capri von Guido Odierna kam im Februar 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.089,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Guido Odierna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fishing vessels off Capri at dusk; and Waves breaking on the rocks, Capri beobachtet, die im September 2006 für GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.956,71) versteigert wurde.
