Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Fishing boats in the bay of Naples by Guido Odierna. The price achieved of GBP 500.00 (€ 620.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Guido Odierna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishing vessels off Capri at dusk; and Waves breaking on the rocks, Capri in September 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,956.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing boats in the bay of Naples von Guido Odierna zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 500,00 (€ 620,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guido Odierna auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishing vessels off Capri at dusk; and Waves breaking on the rocks, Capri im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.956,71).
