Auction result well in line with expectations
The work I Faraglioni; and Boats in a bay, Capri by Guido Odierna was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,868.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guido Odierna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishing vessels off Capri at dusk; and Waves breaking on the rocks, Capri, which sold at auction in September 2006 for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,956.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit I Faraglioni; and Boats in a bay, Capri von Guido Odierna kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.868,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Guido Odierna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fishing vessels off Capri at dusk; and Waves breaking on the rocks, Capri beobachtet, die im September 2006 für GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.956,71) versteigert wurde.
