Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2012 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Trimeresurus Stejnegeri from Serpens by Guido Mocafico. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,902.12). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guido Mocafico achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Serpens in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 92,500.00 (€ 116,298.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trimeresurus Stejnegeri from Serpens von Guido Mocafico zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.902,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guido Mocafico erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Serpens im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 92.500,00 (€ 116.298,04).
