Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spilotes Pullatus from Serpens by Guido Mocafico was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in May 2012. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,344.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guido Mocafico achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Serpens in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 92,500.00 (€ 116,298.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spilotes Pullatus from Serpens von Guido Mocafico wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.344,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guido Mocafico erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Serpens im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 92.500,00 (€ 116.298,04).
