This artwork by Gu Yun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2015. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work VISITING A FRIEND WITH A QIN sold for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,564.47) - well above the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reminiscence Of Hometown in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 132,790.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gu Yun erzielte im März 2015 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit VISITING A FRIEND WITH A QIN für USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.564,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gu Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reminiscence Of Hometown im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 132.790,27).
