The work Recluse'S Life by Gu Yun was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2015. It achieved a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,318.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reminiscence Of Hometown in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 132,790.27).

Die Arbeit Recluse'S Life von Gu Yun kam im September 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.318,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gu Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reminiscence Of Hometown im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 132.790,27).
