Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Recluse By Lotus Pond; Calligraphy by Gu Yun. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,883.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reminiscence Of Hometown in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 132,790.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Recluse By Lotus Pond; Calligraphy von Gu Yun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.883,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gu Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reminiscence Of Hometown im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 132.790,27).
