Upper estimate price exceeded by 35 %.
In September 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction From Daumier to Olitski: Select Works from The William Louis-Dreyfus Foundation and Family Collections, which included the work Notes FF by Grisha Bruskin. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,450.00 (€ 8,162.74), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grisha Bruskin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Logies, Part I in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 424,000.00 (€ 487,692.66).
