Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Overlook by Gregory Amenoff was sold in the Interiors auction at Christies in New York in April 2015. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,479.48) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gregory Amenoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Evenfall, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 12,000.00 (€ 8,972.63).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Overlook von Gregory Amenoff wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.479,48) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gregory Amenoff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Evenfall beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 12.000,00 (€ 8.972,63) versteigert wurde.
