Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Easter Painting by Gregory Amenoff. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,119.87). Admittedly, works by Gregory Amenoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Evenfall in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 12,000.00 (€ 8,972.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Easter Painting von Gregory Amenoff zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.119,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gregory Amenoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Evenfall im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.000,00 (€ 8.972,63).
