Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rake 66 x 86 in. (167.6 x 218.4 cm) unframed by Gregory Amenoff was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art | Bonhams Skinner auction at Bonhams in March this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,290.01) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Gregory Amenoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Evenfall in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 12,000.00 (€ 8,972.63).
