Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beethoven-Klaviersonate Nr. 17 d-moll OP. 31/2 Der Sturm by Gregor Hildebrandt was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gregor Hildebrandt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Faith in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 54,942.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Beethoven-Klaviersonate Nr. 17 d-moll OP. 31/2 Der Sturm von Gregor Hildebrandt wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gregor Hildebrandt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Faith im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 54.942,95).
