Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Der Spiegel by Gregor Hildebrandt was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April last year. The price achieved of EUR 15,120.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gregor Hildebrandt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Faith, which sold at auction in February 2010 for GBP 49,250.00 (€ 54,942.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Der Spiegel von Gregor Hildebrandt kam im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 15.120,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gregor Hildebrandt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Faith beobachtet, die im Februar 2010 für GBP 49.250,00 (€ 54.942,95) versteigert wurde.
