Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam, which included the work Jeu de Paume by Gregor Hildebrandt. The price achieved of EUR 5,292.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gregor Hildebrandt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Faith in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 54,942.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jeu de Paume von Gregor Hildebrandt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.292,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gregor Hildebrandt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Faith im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 54.942,95).
