Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gregor Hildebrandt could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Wired: Online Auction auction, the work All pretty little horses changed hands for GBP 1,512.00 (€ 1,778.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gregor Hildebrandt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Faith in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 54,942.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gregor Hildebrandt konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Wired: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit All pretty little horses für GBP 1.512,00 (€ 1.778,72) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gregor Hildebrandt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Faith im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 54.942,95).
