Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work "Hiding in the sand with Liza" by Grear Patterson for SEK 42,000.00 (€ 4,051.01). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 90,000.00 – 100,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Grear Patterson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pants On Fire in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,383.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Hiding in the sand with Liza" von Grear Patterson für SEK 42.000,00 (€ 4.051,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 90.000,00 – 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Grear Patterson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pants On Fire im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.383,48).
