Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Jack and the Giant Bean Stock by Grear Patterson was sold in the Handle With Care auction at Phillips in an online auction in February 2019. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,500.00 (€ 3,075.84), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grear Patterson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pants On Fire in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,383.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Jack and the Giant Bean Stock von Grear Patterson wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion Handle With Care bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 3.075,84) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Grear Patterson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pants On Fire im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.383,48).
