Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Huffy by Grear Patterson was sold in the Wired: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,964.54). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grear Patterson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pants On Fire in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,383.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Huffy von Grear Patterson wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.520,00 (€ 2.964,54) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Grear Patterson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pants On Fire im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.383,48).
