Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'The Junction', Middlesbrough, 1980 by Graham Smith. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,500.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Graham Smith have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work 'Below The Tyne Bridge, Newcastle Upon Tyne', 1976 was auctioned for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,742.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'The Junction', Middlesbrough, 1980 von Graham Smith zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.500,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Graham Smith konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2017 die Arbeit 'Below The Tyne Bridge, Newcastle Upon Tyne', 1976 für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.742,70) versteigert.
