Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Golnaz Fathi was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2011. The price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,066.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Golnaz Fathi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unwritten in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 55,000.00 (€ 38,014.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Golnaz Fathi kam im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 8.066,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Golnaz Fathi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unwritten im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 38.014,93).
