This work without title by Golnaz Fathi was worth GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,987.74) to a buyer in March last year. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 700.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Golnaz Fathi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unwritten in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 55,000.00 (€ 38,014.93).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Golnaz Fathi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unwritten im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 38.014,93).
