In April 2011 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art, which included this untitled work by Golnaz Fathi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 27,500.00 (€ 18,554.75), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Golnaz Fathi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unwritten, which sold at auction in October 2007 for USD 55,000.00 (€ 38,014.93).

Im April 2011 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Golnaz Fathi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 18.554,75) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Golnaz Fathi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unwritten beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für USD 55.000,00 (€ 38.014,93) versteigert wurde.
