In April 2008 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Secret of Wisdom by Golnaz Fathi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,474.82), 63% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Golnaz Fathi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Unwritten sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of USD 55,000.00 (€ 38,014.93).

Im April 2008 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Secret of Wisdom von Golnaz Fathi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 49.000,00 (€ 31.474,82) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Golnaz Fathi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Unwritten im Oktober 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 38.014,93).
