This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Godwin Champs Namuyimba - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Connector, which sold at auction in November 2021 for HKD 1,323,000.00 (€ 147,104.19).
