Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Flowers of Arles by Glenn Brown was auctioned at Phillips in London in March last year. The price achieved of GBP 151,200.00 (€ 179,264.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Glenn Brown achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tragic Conversion Of Salvador Dalí (After John Martin) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 5,193,250.00 (€ 6,430,479.91).
