Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ferrocemento n. 10 b by Giuseppe Uncini was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 35,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 43,462.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Uncini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cementarmato (Reinforced Concrete) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 278,500.00 (€ 389,551.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ferrocemento n. 10 b von Giuseppe Uncini kam im Februar 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 43.462,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Uncini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cementarmato (Reinforced Concrete) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 278.500,00 (€ 389.551,94).
