The work Cementarmato by Giuseppe Uncini was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in March 2019. The result of GBP 100,000.00 (€ 116,066.98) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Uncini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cementarmato (Reinforced Concrete), which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 278,500.00 (€ 389,551.94).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Cementarmato von Giuseppe Uncini wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 100.000,00 (€ 116.066,98) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Uncini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cementarmato (Reinforced Concrete) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 278.500,00 (€ 389.551,94) versteigert wurde.
