Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Flowers in a blue vase on a ledge with trailing columbine; and Flowers in a blue vase on a ledge by Giuseppe Recco for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,724.17). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters Day Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Recco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses, carnations, tulips and other flowers in a glass vase, with pastries and sweetmeats on a pewter platter, on a stone ledge in front of a red curtain in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 282,000.00 (€ 412,884.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Flowers in a blue vase on a ledge with trailing columbine; and Flowers in a blue vase on a ledge von Giuseppe Recco für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 13.724,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Recco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roses, carnations, tulips and other flowers in a glass vase, with pastries and sweetmeats on a pewter platter, on a stone ledge in front of a red curtain im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 282.000,00 (€ 412.884,33).
