Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life Of Anemones, Tulips, Dahlias And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase by Giuseppe Recco for USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,706.94). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Recco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses, carnations, tulips and other flowers in a glass vase, with pastries and sweetmeats on a pewter platter, on a stone ledge in front of a red curtain in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 282,000.00 (€ 412,884.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life Of Anemones, Tulips, Dahlias And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase von Giuseppe Recco für USD 30.000,00 (€ 25.706,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Master Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Recco erzielen.
