The work Fish and oysters on a wooden table, a landscape beyond by Giuseppe Recco was worth USD 85,000.00 (€ 72,973.90) to a buyer in October 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Recco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses, carnations, tulips and other flowers in a glass vase, with pastries and sweetmeats on a pewter platter, on a stone ledge in front of a red curtain in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 282,000.00 (€ 412,884.33).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Old Masters bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
