This artwork by Giuseppe Penone achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in December 2021. In the Post War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Una pelle di foglie, una pelle di vocali sold for EUR 28,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Penone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Idee di pietra in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,325,000.00 (€ 1,205,202.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 92 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giuseppe Penone erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Una pelle di foglie, una pelle di vocali für EUR 28.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Penone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Idee di pietra im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.325.000,00 (€ 1.205.202,84).
