Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Limited Edition, which included the work Image De Pierre - 2010 by Giuseppe Penone. The price achieved of EUR 1,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Penone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Idee di pietra in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,325,000.00 (€ 1,205,202.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Limited Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Image De Pierre - 2010 von Giuseppe Penone zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Penone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Idee di pietra im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.325.000,00 (€ 1.205.202,84).
