Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work The Good Samaritan by Giovanni Battista Piazzetta for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,342.89). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters Day Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Piazzetta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work David And Goliath in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 409,250.00 (€ 474,728.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Good Samaritan von Giovanni Battista Piazzetta für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.342,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Piazzetta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit David And Goliath im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 409.250,00 (€ 474.728,77).
