In the Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries auction, the work A boy in profile, holding an apple sold for USD 113,400.00 (€ 101,141.63) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Battista Piazzetta have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work David And Goliath in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 409,250.00 (€ 474,728.77).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Piazzetta auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit David And Goliath im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 409.250,00 (€ 474.728,77).
