In the Old Master & British Drawings Including Works from the Collection of Jean Bonna auction, the work The Resurrection of Christ sold for USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,775.71) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Piazzetta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work David And Goliath in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 409,250.00 (€ 474,728.77).
