In the Old Master Drawings auction, the work Head of a man wearing a cap and a fur trimmed coat, seen in profile, looking to the left sold for USD 37,800.00 (€ 31,149.57) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Piazzetta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work David And Goliath in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 409,250.00 (€ 474,728.77).
