The auction ended at the price of EUR 25,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Piazzetta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work David And Goliath in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 409,250.00 (€ 474,728.77).
