The work The Pincian Hill, Rome; The Ponte Namalo: a bridge in the Roman Campagna; The Ponte Pamentano: a bridge with a toll collector's house; and The Basilica of San Sebastiano on the Appian Way by Giovanni Battista Busiri was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2003. It achieved a price of GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,664.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Busiri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Six Roman Views: The Colosseum; The Temple Of Vesta At Tivoli; The Waterfalls At Tivoli; The Pyramid Of Caius Cestius; The Temple Of Vesta In Rome; The Tomb Of Caecilia Metella in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 41,250.00 (€ 53,102.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.664,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%.
