Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work "Tragedia". by Gio Ponti for SEK 35,000.00 (€ 3,073.89). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art + Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gio Ponti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Rare and Important Low Table in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 143,750.00 (€ 163,903.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Tragedia". von Gio Ponti für SEK 35.000,00 (€ 3.073,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gio Ponti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Rare and Important Low Table im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 143.750,00 (€ 163.903,14).
