Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gilberto Zorio could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open/ NYC auction, the work Progrette Disegno changed hands for USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,813.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gilberto Zorio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 281,000.00 (€ 313,042.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gilberto Zorio konnte im Juli 2015 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open/ NYC wechselte die Arbeit Progrette Disegno für USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.813,57) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gilberto Zorio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 281.000,00 (€ 313.042,51).
