Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gilberto Zorio could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Per Purificare La Parole changed hands for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,789.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gilberto Zorio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 281,000.00 (€ 313,042.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gilberto Zorio konnte im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte die Arbeit Per Purificare La Parole für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.789,28) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gilberto Zorio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 281.000,00 (€ 313.042,51).
