Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Stromboli by Gilberto Zorio was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in May this year. The auction ended at the price of EUR 400.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 200.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gilberto Zorio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 281,000.00 (€ 313,042.51).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Stromboli von Gilberto Zorio wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 400,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 200,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gilberto Zorio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 281.000,00 (€ 313.042,51).
