Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Gilberto Zorio was sold in the on paper | online auction at Christies in London in September 2017. The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,403.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gilberto Zorio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 281,000.00 (€ 313,042.51).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gilberto Zorio wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion on paper | online bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.403,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gilberto Zorio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 281.000,00 (€ 313.042,51).
