Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Per Parlare in un Muro di Gres by Gilberto Zorio was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,735.22). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gilberto Zorio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 281,000.00 (€ 313,042.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Per Parlare in un Muro di Gres von Gilberto Zorio kam im Juli 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.735,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gilberto Zorio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 281.000,00 (€ 313.042,51).
